The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, has stated that the solution to the situation in the north does not depend only on Kosovo.
Kurti also said that Serbia should stop supporting the police that have caused protests in the north and that those responsible should be prosecuted before the government considers easing its stance.
"We cannot submit as a democratic republic to this violent militia. We want things to be resolved as soon as possible, but you know that this does not depend only on us", says Kurti for "Bloomberg".
Albin Kurti has made it clear that despite the pressure from the United States of America and the EU, his government will not withdraw. He even called the criticism of the allies "unfair".
He also spoke about the US decision to exclude the KSF from "Defender Europe 2023", and says that it is not good for Kosovo to be bullied.
"It is not okay to bully Kosovo. Whenever the United States asks for something from us, we don't ask why, but only when and how", concludes Albin Kurti.
