The situation in the north of Kosovo has calmed down. After a whole day of armed clashes with a well-structured group, the Kosovo police managed to bring the situation under control.

After the introduction of special units into the monastery, the shooting has stopped. The police have killed 3 people and 6 have been arrested. Meanwhile, it is suspected that another part managed to escape. Currently, special units are leaving the area, while they are still checking the monastery and the surrounding area. KFOR and EULEX forces are also on standby.
