The head of the AAK party, Ramush Haradinaj, after the kidnapping of 3 officers, has demanded that the Minister of the Interior of Kosovo, Xhelal Zveçla, resign, as according to him, the uniform of the Kosovo police has been desecrated by the images shown in the Serbian media.
In a press conference held by the headquarters of the Party he leads, he said that there should be a union of opposition forces in Kosovo to stop Kurti, who according to him is endangering the existence of the state of Kosovo.
"It was a humiliating scene, the scene of kidnapping and desecration of our uniforms. We request that the international community exert pressure on Serbia to release the officers captured by the Serbian forces. Zveçla to resign because the Kosovo police uniform was desecrated today. We understand that Kurti has received a mandate to lead the country towards stability and strengthening of the relationship with the Euro-Atlantic allies. But he is doing the opposite, he is not moving towards stability. Kurti is endangering the existence of the republic. I invite everyone to stop Kurt in order to stop other consequences for Kosovo. Kurti is intensively breaking this alliance with every action of his, so this is either a spy of Serbia or he is the one who will hardly remain in power as he hides his losing government immersed in corruption and nepotism, and is looking for salvation in criminals,", said Haradinaj.
