The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kosovo has called on emigrants returning to their homeland to avoid passing through Serbia due to the tense political situation.

Through an official announcement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora called on Kosovar citizens to notify other border points for circulation until a second announcement.

"Important information for all those traveling to Kosovo. Please follow the tense security situation closely and do not travel through Serbia. All compatriots and citizens who are on the move are notified to use other border points for circulation until further official information from the institutions of the Republic of Kosovo.

Considering the fact that there is a lot of fake news in circulation, which aims to spread fear and chaos, please follow @Kosovo_Police for the latest official updates in this regard", the official announcement reads .
