The President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, said that if he recognized Kosovo as an independent state, he would win the Nobel Prize.
Vucic in an interview for "TV Prva" has shown how "Serbia continues to face pressure to impose sanctions on Russia and also on the issue of Kosovo".
"Despite how many things are not in our favor and we have not accepted Kosovo, Serbia has no sanctions against itself. And we didn't even impose sanctions on Russia. "If we had decided, we would be champions of democracy, winners of dozens of awards, and with the recognition of Kosovo, I would also receive the 'Nobel'," said Vučič.
In the interview, Vucic told about the meeting he had in Munich yesterday with the High Representative of the EU for Foreign Policy and Security, Josep Borrell.
"Borrelli was shocked yesterday. The day before, Kurti had told him that he offered a three-month suspension, as he called it. We are looking for a solution, someone will be invited to Brussels", said Vucic. "I don't want to bother people with details. We will search and try to find a solution. People cannot stay hungry and we must find a way for them to stay in Kosovo and M.", he said.
Borrelli met on Saturday in Munich with the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti and the President of Serbia, Vucic.
In a post on Twitter, Borrelli on Saturday announced the meetings he had in Munich with the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, and the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic.
"Lasting stability and peace in the region can only be achieved through the normalization of relations between Kosovo and Serbia. The way to this is through dialogue facilitated by the EU", he wrote on Twitter.
Vucic also spoke to "TV Prva" about the death in prison of Russian oppositionist Alexei Navalny. During his answer, he also mentioned the death in custody in The Hague of the "Butcher of the Balkans", Slobodan Milosevic.
"It is tragic when such a young man loses his life. I am not an investigative body and wise enough to know like everyone else in the world who knows it all. I would not even talk about what happened with Milosevic, this is for political analysts, not for the president of a country", said Vucic.
