Even the 51st attempt to constitute the Assembly of Kosovo has not yielded results, and voting did not take place this Wednesday.
The clash between the Speaker of the Assembly, Avni Dehari, and PDK MP, Ganimete Musliu, led to the interruption of the session, preventing the normal continuation of the constitution procedure.
Initially, Dehari asked the director to stop Musliu from speaking, citing the Assembly's rules of procedure, which state that there is no room for debate.
The latter took the microphone from Dehar to continue his speech, asking him not to interrupt.
Their clash led to the interruption of the session by Dehari, who announced that the session would continue on July 25 at 11:00, without putting the formation of the secret committee to a vote.
Dehari closed the session by saying that there are no conditions for its continuation. The next continuation is scheduled for Friday at 11:00.
The deadline for the constitution of the Assembly ends on July 26, according to the Constitutional Court's order requiring its formation within one month.
We recall that the President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, has addressed the Constitutional Court with a request for interpretation regarding the legal consequences that may arise if the new Assembly is not constituted within the specified period of 30 days, which ends in three days.
