
The Romanian Ministry of Defense has announced that 130 Romanian soldiers have been added to KFOR, due to the request made by the NATO headquarters.
The announcement states that the number of Romanian soldiers in Kosovo now reaches 210.
"The Romanian army has completed the increase of the contingent participating in the NATO mission in Kosovo, with a total of 130 soldiers", it is stated in the announcement of the Romanian Ministry of Defense.
The announcement also indicates the reason for the increase in the number of Romanian soldiers.
"The decision to increase the Romanian forces was taken as a result of the authorization by the North Atlantic Council to supplement the forces for the management of the current situation in the Western Balkans", announced the Romanian Ministry of Defense.
