The President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, said this evening that he does not know what the solution is for the extension of relations with Kosovo and that he is waiting to hear the proposals of the Western officials coming to Belgrade.
"Only from Monday, when I hear from Lajcak and Escobar, then I will call the Serbs from Kosovo to consult. I don't know what someone has thought of as a way out," said Vucic for Prva television.
The President of Serbia has also said that the conflict in the north was caused by the Kosovo Police and not the KFOR forces, as was initially thought.
He warned that tomorrow he will visit the injured from the clashes between Serbs and KFOR forces.
The special representative of the European Union (EU) for dialogue, Miroslav Lajcak, and the American envoy for the Western Balkans, Gabriel Escobar, will visit Pristina and Belgrade next week.
Their visit comes amid tensions in northern Kosovo, where groups of local Serbs in Zveçan, Leposavič and Zubin Potok have been protesting for a week against the Albanian mayors of these municipalities.
