A shocking event was recorded in Podujevë, Kosovo.
A mother helped her 19-year-old daughter get an abortion at home in the seventh month. The mother and daughter committed this crime in the bathroom of the apartment and it is suspected that the baby fell into the toilet.
The case was discovered after the complications the girl had, who then sought medical help at the hospital's Emergency Room.
"In the case you refer to, we inform you that the State Prosecutor has issued a ruling on the detention of two persons (female), due to the suspicion that they have committed the criminal offenses of "Murder of a baby during childbirth" and "Assisting in the murder of the baby during birth", according to the KPRK", said the spokesperson of the Basic Prosecutor's Office in Pristina, Laureta Ulaj.
After discovering the case, mother and daughter were arrested by the police.
