Pleurat Salihu, one of the journalists assaulted in Leposavic, has told in detail how the incident happened. He said that they initially wrote in the northern part where the police station is located because they made a report from there.
" When we went to Leposavic, we continued calmly, without provocations, without turning our heads to the right or to the left, even though there were insults and insults that we experienced continuously and we went to the place where the municipality facility is. We are stationed there, the team of another media was also there ," said Salihu.
He said that at the moment they were placed in one of the tents that have been put up to prevent the protesters from getting wet from the rain and to protect themselves from the high temperatures. According to the journalist, the moment Elbert Krasniqi left the door of the municipality, the first shock-bomb was heard towards the minister and towards the journalists. He said that the cameraman who was nearby had hearing problems.
"The moment he passed the gate, the former president of Leposavic gave the order to attack the minister's vehicle with everything," said Salihu.
From these incidents, the journalist was left with a broken arm.
