The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, during his stay in Athens, held a meeting with the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen.
He asked her to increase her expectations towards Belgrade regarding the implementation of the agreements between the two countries.
" One of the main topics of this discussion was the bilateral issues between Kosovo and the European Union, with special emphasis on the implementation of reforms. The Growth Plan for the Western Balkans (EU Growth Plan), presented by President Von der Leyen herself in Bratislava, the implementation of agreements from the Common Regional Market within the framework of the Berlin Process, as well as the dialogue in Brussels were among the main topics of discussion . , it is stated in the announcement of the Prime Minister's Office.
For her part, the president of the European Commission (EC) said that she talked with the prime minister of Kosovo, but also with the president of Serbia about the reduction of tensions in the north of Kosovo and the implementation of agreements between the two countries.
