A driver in the US state of Montana has attracted the attention of authorities and passersby after driving a vehicle built in the shape of a giant banana on wheels.
It's about Steve Braithwaite, who has transformed a 1993 Ford F-150 into a unique vehicle, about 7 meters long, designed in the shape of a banana.
The project began in 2008 and was completed in 2011, with the goal of bringing more creativity and humor to American streets.
Despite its unusual appearance, the police stop was not related to the vehicle itself, but to a specific violation: the vehicle's license plates were partially covered by two boxes, making their identification difficult.
After a conversation with officers, Braithwaite was allowed to continue on his way without being fined.
This isn't the first time his unique vehicle has caught the attention of the police. According to the driver himself, the "banana" has been stopped several times over the years due to its unusual appearance, making it a familiar figure on US roads.
Recently, Braithwaite embarked on a long journey across America in his special vehicle, promoting the idea that "the world needs more fantasy."
