A shocking event has occurred in Jalisco, Mexico, where 23-year-old influencer Valeria Marquez was shot and killed during a TikTok livestream, directly from her beauty salon.
According to the Jalisco state prosecutor's office, the perpetrators of the crime are suspected to have been hired killers, who executed her in front of her followers. A few hours before the incident, two masked men - one posing as a courier with a "very expensive gift" - had asked about Valeria at the salon, asking to meet her in person.
Moments before she was killed, Valeria expressed her concern live:
"What if they wanted to kill me? Or take me with them?" she said, not knowing that the danger was real.
Just a few minutes later, the two men returned and shot him dead.
The prosecution suspects that the perpetrators were the same ones who killed a former MP in the same area, on the same day, and is investigating whether the cases are related.
