The music legend, Elton John, has closed his UK tour this Sunday. The 76-year-old appeared in tears on Glastonbury's Pyramid Stage for the final show of his Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour.
While everything went very smoothly, it seems that those in attendance were left disappointed that many of the stars who were rumored to be attending the tour, were not.
Foreign media write that initially it was rumored that Britney Spears would perform the song "Hold Me Closer" in collaboration with Elton John during the show, but the 41-year-old did not appear.
On the other hand, the absence of the singer of Albanian origin, Dua Lipa, was a disappointment. Elton announced that he would sing "Cold Heart" alone as Dua could not join him that night.
The beauty posted a picture of herself at a family dinner and fans didn't hesitate to write, "Sorry Dua Lipa, but what's more important than performing at Glastonbury with Elton John?"
Fans have called John's performance a triumph. The closing concert was attended by his husband David Furnish and their children, as well as famous friends including David Walliams and the Spice Girls. Stars including Paul McCartney, Taron Egerton and Andrew Garfield were also seen backstage watching the show before attending Elton's after-party.
