Ermal Mamaqi has decided to speak openly about his decision to retire from television. Invited to the show "Flet", he revealed for the first time the reasons that led him to this decision, admitting that he felt it was time to close an important chapter in his career.
"I think my time for that kind of show was over," Mamaqi said, adding that he had begun to notice a decline in his performance.
"You know when is the best time to end a conversation? When it's at its peak. I felt it going down and that's where it ended."
Known for his frequent career transformations, Mamaqi emphasized that he does not miss television, especially now that he is involved in other projects and has found other ways to fulfill himself.
"Television is a great deception. I don't miss it. When you realize yourself in other forms, you no longer feel the absence of the screen," he said.
However, there is still room for hope for his fans. Asked about a possible comeback, Mamaqi did not rule out the possibility, but set a clear condition: "I have received several offers. I thanked them, but they did not convince me. If a different, challenging project came along, I would accept it with pleasure."
