"It was discovered that in addition to promoting crime and drug use, she also sells and distributes narcotics in Bahia, with some people from São Paulo as one of her suppliers," he said.

One of the most famous cases is that of Bella May Culley. Efforts to free the pregnant teenager held for months in a Soviet-era prison have failed after friends and family failed to raise the staggering sum of £215,000. Relatives of suspected drug trafficker Bella Culley have been desperately trying to raise enough money to buy her freedom from the Georgia prison where she is being held.

She now faces the prospect of giving birth to her son in Tbilisi Women's Prison No. 5, where she faces 20 years in prison. She was arrested and detained in May with £200,000 worth of drugs in the country after a flight from Thailand.
Judge Giorgi Gelashvili today gave the family three weeks to raise the money for the plea deal or face jail time, according to The Sun. Bella's parents have been desperately trying to borrow money but admitted they have been unable to get it. They now have until October 28 to find the money before the judge hands down the sentence on November 2.
