Arben Derhemi has reopened the old debate with Ermal Mamaq. In a recent interview for the show "Piranhas," the actor talked about details from the movie "People and Fate 2" and shared stories from his personal life. But, during the interview, Derhemi gave his opinion about some well-known figures of Albanian cinematography.
For Albano Bogdon, he said he was a "very nice actor," while Drilon Hoxha called him "a good guy." When asked about Ermal Mamaq, Derhemi chose not to comment, saying: "Who is this? What is this? Actor?” Derhemi and Mamaqi have had occasional clashes. Derhemi described Mamaq as a "pseudo-humorist" who entered the film industry without respecting the figures of true art. Mamaqi, on the other hand, has affirmed that his films have been well liked by the public and that he has proven success.
In the past, when asked about this conflict, Derhemi maintained the same position, saying: "I have nothing personal with him. He's a guy who has his way and can do whatever he wants, but for me it's non-existent."
