Adrian Ismajli is undoubtedly a key pillar for the Albanian National Team and secret player Silvinjo. The "red" defender was one of the players with the greatest contribution during Albania's qualification for "EURO 2024". Despite this, his squad with the National Team for these friendlies could be in jeopardy. This is not because of his bad form or that the coach no longer has faith in him, but because of an injury he suffered last weekend playing with Empoli.
As reported by the Italian media, the Albanian defender suffered a muscle strain in his left thigh in the last match against Milan, which could leave him out of the game for a long time. The club fear that the injury could worsen, so they will not activate him in their next match against Bologna, so that they can have him ready after the end of the international break.
Really sad news for the Albanian National Team, because it is not yet known if Ismajli will recover 100% to return to the playing field and contribute to the March duels against Chile and Sweden. While Silvinjo does not have much time available, as the list with the final names for the collection is expected to be published on Friday.
