The film "In the Frame of Love" was hardly received by the public, as part of the cast were former residents of BBV2. A year after its premiere, this film comes this time with 15 minutes more with scenes that we had not seen before. Koloreto Cukali, the director and screenwriter of this film, who was invited to the Wake Up show, explains what to expect from this innovation.
How was this experience of making a film for you?
I am very happy with the whole way of the movie. The road to making the film was amazing. I have worked with actors that you would dream of working with, that give you great satisfaction and you are fulfilled when you work with them. We shot in a hurry, there was a lot of material and we shot for a month.
What was the most interesting comment you received?
How we cut off Ndriçim Xhepa's penis, I was told that it is the cutting of the male myth. We didn't cut Ndriçim Xhepa, we cut his character. We made several models, built by hand ourselves. They didn't turn out so well and we had to buy them some rubber penises. After the shooting they disappeared (laughs).
What was the most difficult scene of the film?
A difficult scene in terms of costuming, was when Luizi sings and Olta returns to memories. Olta's character has to change clothes in that scene. We had 20 seconds to dress and undress her and she had to ignore what was happening. We also had a problem with time, because it was getting light. It had to be done very quickly. It depended a lot on time and every other element.
And the biggest surprise for you?
The biggest surprise is Sara Hoxha, because she had never acted. We shot a scene that was so good, we didn't need another take. It is the actress who makes the role look good.
