American rapper Offset, known in real life as Kiari Cephus, has spoken honestly for the first time about the behind-the-scenes of his marriage to Cardi B, admitting that his mistakes and betrayal led to the end of their seven-year relationship. During an interview on the program “Baby, This Is Keke Palmer”, the 33-year-old artist said that their relationship was not perfect and that the responsibility for the separation lies with both of them.
"I was absolutely not perfect in that situation. I made a lot of mistakes. There are a lot of things I did wrong, and she made mistakes too," Offset said.
He added that experiencing the separation under public scrutiny has made the process much more emotionally difficult.
"I should have respected her a lot more. I made bad decisions as a man, like cheating," the rapper admitted.
Offset confessed that after the betrayal, he realized he had to accept Cardi B's decision to end the marriage in July 2024. However, he stressed that despite the separation, their children remain the main priority for both parents.
"We may no longer be together as a couple, but we will always be together as parents," he concluded.
We recall that his relationship with Cardi B has recently been in the spotlight due to their statements.
