Ilir Vrenozi, a figure who has become a social media phenomenon, was invited yesterday morning to the show "7pa5". In his characteristic style, Vrenozi entered the studio singing "Again we lost", a message that reflects his approach after the opposition's defeat in the May 11 elections.
“I am a born right-winger, but when you lose, you have to come down to earth,” Vrenozi said, adding that one of the main problems of Albanian politics is the inability to accept defeat. He criticized the opposition’s cooperation with Ilir Meta, calling it “the first flaw of the right” and called for a return to political values and nobility.
Regarding the rejection of the invitation for coffee by Prime Minister Edi Rama, Vrenozi said with humor:
"That's how I am, I'm a little sick. If he comes to the door, the door will be locked. I'll tell him I'm not here."
He ruled out the possibility of collaborating with Rama, emphasizing his loyalty to the Democrats. However, he said that if he had been contacted earlier for a podcast with the Prime Minister, he would have accepted to say what he thinks. “Now that we lost, if they see me with him, they will say I sold out,” he said.
In the end, he did not spare a single message for the current opposition leadership: "If I were in Dr. Berisha's place, I would have left in 2023. I read the people's vote."
