Miley Cyrus, during a conversation on the podcast Harper's BAZAAR: The Good Buy, has revealed that during the height of her career in the iconic series Hannah Montana, she wore 250 hair extensions. "If it didn't reach 250, my mom wouldn't accept it," Miley confessed. Her extravagant hairstyle back then reflected the pressure to maintain a pop star image, but Miley adds that these techniques are now out of date.
During the interview, Miley also mentioned icons who inspire her, such as Dolly Parton, Grace Jones and Diana Ross, for their authenticity and the way fashion connects them with the audience. We recall that Cyrus is involved in a legal conflict related to copyright, as it is accused of having used without permission melodic elements from the song of Bruno Mars, "When I Was Your Man", in her hit "Flowers". The lawsuit was filed by Tempo Music Investments, a company that owns the copyright to Marsi's song.
This also includes "Flowers" writers Michael Pollack and Gregory Hein, as well as two major music companies, Sony Music and Apple. The lawsuit alleges that "Flowers" is an unauthorized reworking of "When I Was Your Man," highlighting the obvious similarities between the two songs that were noticed shortly after the release of "Flowers" in 2023. According to the plaintiffs, the song Cyrus would not exist without the influence of Bruno Mars' composition.
Meanwhile, the singer has recently shared her thoughts about the relationship with her new partner, Max Morado, in an interview for Harper's Bazaar. She talked about the six-year age difference between them and the different perspectives they have on life. Miley has said that Max sees life very differently from her, but added that they both have a similar approach to life:
He sees life very differently from me... He is very similar to me. We both don't take life too seriously.
