Ilir Shaqiri was invited to "Ndryshe" together with Ledja Liku, the producer of his project
their newest "Diaspora Stars" on the Top Channel screen.
"Albanian Stars of the Diaspora" is a talent show that aims to discover and select young Albanian or Albanian-origin talents throughout the continent of Europe, but also beyond. All this realization took place during December 2023, where the idea was like the beginning of Iliri. Then, as the guests said, they came together through Ledion Liço, who helped them bring the project to life.
Producer Ledja Liku said:
"Ledion Liço brought us together. Ledioni is the person who supervises us and is even the person who has a very important and invisible hand in the whole project. In addition to the fact that he brought us together, he is the person who gave us many ideas on how it can be realized, because it is very difficult to realize such a project, especially in Europe. We were only four people. Ledioni is a very good producer and knows television in every aspect. I want to tell the truth. It didn't come out at all in this project, but it has a very important hand with the whole structure of the project.
When asked how the whole initial idea came about, Ilir Shaqiri, who is also the moderator of this program, answered:
This arises as a simple idea of what my work is in Italy, because many times I have come across it in the masterclass, workshop that I do with Albanian children. Many times like them, like their mother, like their father, they wanted some kind of presentation for the children. Just why don't you address us somewhere to get to know each other, who their potential is and that's how it started. I originally wanted to do a competition in Rome, exactly what today is "Albanian Stars of the Diaspora". As Ledja also said, after "Dancing With The Stars" of the last edition, I went to Ledioni's office and told him 'I want to tell an idea I have in 10 words' and in 10 words 10 seconds were enough for Ledioni to say 'yes , it's worth it'. The thing is really worth it, because it is also worth it thanks to Ledja who is here. I tell him that if it hadn't been for this person (Ledja), this program would have been impossible, because it requires so much dedication from the production side, let's say, which in this case is exactly Ledja, that there is no more. It is not just to create, to ideate, or to dream something, but also to materialize it. Implementing it is very difficult.
