Hugo One, a 28-year-old singer from Luxembourg, has gone viral on the internet due to his striking resemblance to Elon Musk, but he himself is not at all happy about this comparison.
Even though people stop him on the street, ask for photos, and comment on his resemblance to the Tesla CEO, Hugo sees this as a kind of annoyance and doesn't consider it a compliment.
"I don't take it as a compliment to be compared to Elon, because he's not a good person," he told the media.
Hugo, who once worked as an English and French teacher in Berlin, was first compared to Musk in 2018 by one of his students. Since then, his appearance has garnered millions of views on social media, but also a range of mixed reactions from followers.
However, despite all the attention, he says he has no intention of changing his appearance: "I like the way I look, I just don't want to be a 'copy' of someone I don't admire."
