The famous Italian actress, Eva Grimaldi, has confessed for the first time, during an interview for "Verissimo", one of the most difficult moments of her life.
She has revealed that around the age of 30, the actress chose not to continue the pregnancy: I had an abortion, it was important for me to continue my career. I didn't feel ready to have a child.
As he reflects back on the decision he made, Grimaldi does not hide his regret and bitterness that he had to make such a difficult choice.
"Sometimes women, maybe at the beginning of their careers, find themselves forced to choose. I would like to tell them to choose life," she said.
The artist also confessed that she made this decision without involving the child's father, a colleague with whom she had a brief relationship. "I didn't want to take advantage of his name," she said, emphasizing that it was a choice she made herself.
Some time later, during her marriage to Fabrizio Ambroso, to whom she was married from 2006 to 2010, Grimaldi felt the desire to become a mother, which nevertheless remained just that: When I was trying to have a child, I always thought 'I was given the opportunity once, but not the second time'.
