Abakarov writes history, Chechen wrestler gives Albania another gold medal

Zelimkhan Abakarov is the gold medal winner for Albania in wrestling.

During the "Polyak Imre & Varga Janos Memoria" tournament that is taking place in Hungary, the Chechen naturalized as an Albanian managed to get a gold medal in the weight up to 61 kilograms.

Abakarov defeated Osimzhan Dastanbek in the final. The final confrontation was not discussed by the athlete who defends the red and black colors, as he dominated the opponent on the carpet.

The red-and-black athlete in the general test before the World Cup in Serbia, which takes place a few weeks later, managed to get a gold medal, while in Serbia he expects to get points for the "Paris 2024" Olympics.

The other athlete who represented Albania in this event, Islam Dudaev secured the bronze medal in the weight up to 65 kilograms in the free style of wrestling.
