England missed out on another European final, being dominated by De la Fuente's Spain, who secured their fourth ever European title with a 2-1 success in Berlin.
After the match, the coach of the "3 Lions", Gareth Southgate, expressed his disappointment, while he is unclear about his future at the head of the "Three Lions".

As for the lost final, he said that his team did not have enough time to prepare the match, given that Spain had 1 day more rest.

Southgate has been in charge of England since 2016, but his current contract expires in December.
