The 34th and final week of the 2025-2026 Bundesliga season took place this Saturday, with important verdicts both in the race for Europe and at the bottom of the table.
Champions Bayern Munich ended the season with a resounding 5-1 victory over Cologne at the Allianz Arena. The absolute protagonist was Harry Kane, author of a hat-trick, while Tom Bischoff and Nicholas Jackson also joined the scorers. For the guests, young talent Said El Malah scored.
Borussia Dortmund also achieved victory, securing second place after a 0-2 away win over Werder Bremen. The goals for the yellow and blacks were scored in the second half by Serhu Girasi and Jan Kouto.
Along with Bayern Munich and Dortmund, Leipzig and Stuttgart will also participate in the next edition of the Champions League. Leipzig was defeated with a deep score of 4-1 by Freiburg, while Stuttgart drew 2-2 away against Eintracht Frankfurt.
Hoffenheim and Bayer Leverkusen qualified for the Europa League, finishing the season in fifth and sixth place respectively. Hoffenheim suffered a heavy 4-0 defeat to Borussia Mönchengladbach, while Leverkusen drew 1-1 with Hamburg.
At the bottom of the table, Wolfsburg won the direct confrontation against St. Pauli and ended the championship in 16th place, which forces them to play the "play-out" match for survival against the third-place team in Bundesliga 2.
Meanwhile, Heidenheim and St. Pauli are officially relegated from the Bundesliga and will compete in the German second division next season.
