The future of coach Ernest Gjoka on the Skënderbeg bench remains unclear, as there has been no official reaction or decision from the Korçë club so far. However, in the sports media, hints have begun to circulate about the name that could replace him.
According to sources close to the Korçë club, the most talked about name is that of Ilir Daja. It is reported that the 59-year-old coach could return to Skënderbeu, the team with which he achieved the greatest successes in his career, winning the championship title and the Albanian Cup in the 2017-2018 season.
However, these claims have been denied by sources close to the Dinamo club. According to them, Daja has no intention of leaving the capital's "blues", a team with which he just won the Albanian Cup and continues to be in the race for the championship title in the Superiore.
At the moment, there is no official confirmation from the coach himself or from the respective clubs regarding his future.
