Barcelona returned to the Camp Nou with a 4-0 win over Athletic Bilbao in their 13th La Liga match. The Catalans opened the scoring in the 4th minute with Robert Lewandowski, the Polish striker scoring with a beautiful left-footed shot. Despite rumours of a move away at the end of the season, the Polish striker is showing that he is still capable of leading Barcelona's attack.
At the end of the first half, Barcelona doubled their lead through Ferran Torres, after a magical assist from Lamin Jamal. The Catalans started the second half with fire, finding the goal in the 57th minute through Fermin Lopez, after a lost ball by the Basques in their own area.
In the 54th minute, Bilbao was left with 10 players, after Oihan Sánchez was sent off for a brutal tackle on Fermin Lopez.
In the final minutes, it was Ferran Torres who scored the second personal goal, again with an assist from Lamin Jamal, and sealed Barcelona's 4-0 victory. The Catalans lead with 31 points, the same as Real Madrid, only the latter play Elche tomorrow.
