Barcelona secured their 29th LaLiga title with a 2-0 victory over arch-rivals Real Madrid on a bittersweet night for coach Hansi Flick, whose father passed away hours before the Spanish crown was to be clinched in an El Clásico for only the second time in history.
The Catalan team started the match perfectly, taking the lead in the 9th minute with Marcus Rashford, who scored the first goal of the match for 1-0.
Barcelona continued their dominance and doubled their lead in the 18th minute. Ferran Torres scored the second goal after an assist from Dani Olmo, deciding the final result of the match.
The second half was goalless, but marked by tension and some harsh tackles. The referee booked Eduardo Camavinga, Raul Asensio, Dani Olmo, Jude Bellingham and Trent Alexander-Arnold for tackles or unsporting behaviour.
With this victory over Real Madrid, Barcelona mathematically secures the La Liga championship title, crowning a successful season with a triumph in the biggest derby in Spanish football.

This is the Blaugrana's 29th national success, moving them closer to Real Madrid's record.
