
Fulham are considering a big move on the final day of the summer transfer window for Lille winger Edon Zhegrova, writes Football Insider.
Fulham boss Marco Silva is keen to bring in reinforcements in attack after losing the likes of Willian and Bobby Decordova-Reid earlier this summer. Fulham have had a long-term interest in Zagreb but are now considering a late move to sign the Lille striker before the transfer window closes on Friday 30 August.
A deal could be difficult to come by as Lille qualified for the Champions League group stage and are now financially sound, while Zhegrova was the hero for the French with two goals in two games against Slavia Prague.
In addition to Fulham, there was interest in Zagreb from Manchester in the last few hours. United, with pundit Fabrizio Romano revealing the French have said no to an offer from the Devils.
We recall that Fulham had Armando Brojë on loan for four months at the end of last season, with the National team striker not making a place in the team.
