The President of the Albanian Football Association, Armand Duka, appeared excited after the great triumph in the away match against Serbia.
He stated that victory is necessary to continue the dream of the World Cup, but there was no shortage of jokes and lighthearted banter.
"We are in the throes of celebration, I don't remember what I said... It was a good result, a necessary sporting achievement. The boys gave their all. We are not even halfway there yet."
Duka said that there was fantastic organization and that the change of venue helped a lot. He emphasized that the matches in Tirana and Elbasan also had positive notes, but that there are still things to improve.
In the end, he declared: "A winning team is not discussed, a winning coach is not changed."
Regarding the refereeing, Duka praised the referee as one of the best in Europe, who managed to lead the match with justice and fairness, without external influence.
