January is expected to bring significant moves for Arbër Hoxha. The Albania international winger has entered the radar of English clubs, with Sheffield United and Hull City vying for the 27-year-old's services.
According to "Sportsboom", both clubs are ready to present concrete offers in the winter transfer window, while Hoxha's performances with both Dinamo Zagreb and the national team have significantly increased his rating. Sheffield United is seen with a slight advantage thanks to its greater financial power, which could make the difference in the final negotiations.
Hull City, on the other hand, have a strong point in manager Sergej Jakirovic. The Croatian coach previously worked with Hoxha at Dinamo Zagreb, where the winger made 31 appearances, scoring four goals and providing three assists under him. Jakirovic also tried to sign the player during his time at Kayserispor and is now looking to exploit their relationship to bring him to the EFL Championship.
Dinamo Zagreb has not put Hoxha up for sale, especially after renewing his contract until 2029, but his moderate salary, around 500 thousand euros per year, makes him an achievable target for English clubs.
The future of the red and black winger remains open, but one thing is certain, Arbër Hoxha is one of the hottest names of January.
