Milan won the derby against their sworn enemies, Inter, by a narrow 0-1 score. Pulisic's goal gave Milan the three important points in the title race.
The first half started well for the 'Ziklatri' who dominated both in possession and scoring chances. Despite hitting the post twice, luck was not on their side. Milan showed caution and managed to end the half with a 0-0 draw.
In the second half, things would change and the game would become more open with Milan becoming more demanding and creating dangerous moves. In the 54th minute, Pulisic would score the opening goal for Milan and seal the score at 0-1.
As the minutes passed, Inter would create chances, but the most flagrant would be the one in the 70th minute, where Thuram would fake a penalty which would then be missed by Calhanoglu.
After that, despite Inter's efforts, nothing changed in the remaining minutes, with Milan focusing on defending the score and the three points.
With this victory for Milan, the situation in Serie A continues to be very interesting with the top 5 remaining in a tight race for the title. Milan with today's three points climbs to second place with 25 points, three less than the leading Roma, while Inter drops to fourth place with 24 points.
