Egnatia returned to victory in the Superior Category after four unsuccessful matches, triumphing 1-0 away against Flamurtari, in the match valid for the 23rd week of the championship.
The match started with Flamurtari being the most persistent and demanding in the game, but the first half ended goalless. The start of the second half proved decisive, when Bakayoko took advantage of a created opportunity and sent the ball into the net, giving the team from Rrogozhina the advantage.
After the goal, Egnatia withdrew almost entirely to defense, focusing on preserving the score. Flamurtari attempted to equalize on several occasions, but found goalkeeper Dajsinani in front, who appeared insurmountable and kept the goal intact until the end of the match.
Thanks to this victory, Egnatia consolidates third place in the standings with 42 points. On the other hand, Flamurtari continues to remain in last place with 19 points and the survival situation becomes increasingly difficult for the Vlora team.
