The last few months have not been easy for Albanian footballer Elseid Hysaj. The defender, who has a contract with Lazio until the summer of 2026, was put up for sale by the team, as the latter no longer wanted him.
The capital club left him out of the last six months in Serie A and the Europa League. However, in the last derby against Roma, the defender from Shkodran remained on the bench and was ready for coach Baroni. "Corriere dello Sport" reports that Lecce is interested in Hysaj and the formula for taking him on loan for six months includes the payment of half of his salary by the Puljes.
The defender earns around 2.8 million euros per season and Lecce will have to pay half of his salary for the months he will have available, at least on loan until the summer of 2025. The red and black winger has developed positive performances every time he has been called up, as in the last challenge against Fiorentina. Hysaj has been included in the list of players in Serie A, but recently according to Italian media, Hysaj is expected to be part of the team in the Europa League as well.
In the last match, Elseid Hysaj came on in the 66th minute of the match instead of Pelegrini and then became decisive. The legionnaire was rated 7.6 for somewhere around 30 minutes of play just because he assisted in the only goal of the match for Lazio. But it seems that his career is now at a turning point, for the better, and even for the footballer there is little time for vacation. On social networks, he appears as he has enjoyed a few days of vacation with his wife and three children.
