Five weeks before the end of the regular season in the Superior Category, the competition for the main objectives remains completely open, both at the top of the standings for securing a place in the "Final Four", and at the bottom of the table for survival.
According to the Director of Competitions at the Albanian Football Association, Marjus Sulejmani, the championship is being held at a high level of competitiveness. In a statement for the official website of the Albanian Football Association, he emphasized that up to this stage, only Vllaznia has mathematically secured participation in the final phase.
Strong fight for the "Final Four" and survival
Sulejmani announced that five other teams are still in the running for the three remaining spots in the "Final Four", which keeps the rivalry open in the final weeks of the season.
At the same time, the bottom of the standings also looks quite tense. The bottom two teams will be relegated directly from the category, while the eighth-placed team will face a play-off against a First Division team to ensure their place in the elite.
Change in the “Final Four” format
As for the final stage, this is the third season that the “Final Four” format has been applied. However, this year an important change is foreseen: the first four teams will start this stage with halved points.
The semi-finals are scheduled to take place on May 16 and 17, while the final and closing matches will be played on May 23-24 and 29-31 at the "Air Albania" Stadium.

Second place: 7 million new lek
Third place: 5 million new lekë
