A victory over a team like Poland brings not only personal satisfaction, but is also a victory for the whole nation, in our case Moldova. It was definitely an incredible and emotional experience. It is an incomparable feeling to bring joy to Moldovan fans with your goals. I feel like I'm proving to myself and my team that we can compete at a high level.
– How would you characterize the atmosphere in the dressing room of the Moldovan national team before important matches?
There is an atmosphere of concentration in the dressing room before important matches. We are like a family and we support each other because we have a common goal. Each player understands the importance of his role on the field and how important it is to fight for the success of our team.
– How do you assess the progress of the Moldovan national team in this qualifying campaign and which aspects do you consider to be the key to success at the moment?
I believe that our team has made significant progress in this qualifying campaign. The main success factor was the cohesion and teamwork of the coach and the entire team. I learned from every match and approached every opponent with the utmost seriousness.

The match against Albania is extremely important, probably the most important in the whole qualifier and I'm looking forward to giving everything on the pitch to get the 3 points. Our tactics will be based on strong defence, team play and taking advantage of opportunities. We want to achieve victory for Moldova.

The most exciting moment I experienced in the game for the national team of Moldova was definitely when I scored the first goal for the team.
