Sad news from Korça, the icon of Skanderbeg passes away, he suffered a cardiac arrest and lost consciousness in the middle of the hall

Sad news comes from Korça. Former footballer of Skenderbeu, Veteran Topçiu, died at the age of 80, after a cardiac arrest suffered this afternoon. 

The legend of Korça football was at the "Fjalăn e ke ti" meeting, where the mayor of Korça, Sotiraq Filo, was also present, while discussing in the middle of the hall, Veteran Topçiu lost consciousness. Unfortunately, even though he was immediately transported to the hospital in the city of Korça, the Veteran did not make it, losing his life. 

The late veteran Topçiu wore Skenderbeu's jersey for 12 consecutive years (1960-1972), making a valuable contribution to the Korça team. For special merits, he holds two medals awarded by the People's Assembly of Albania.
