Turkish media outlet "Fanatik" reports that Galatasaray is very close to formalizing the transfer of Granit Xhaka and it is said that last week there was a meeting between the player's agent, who is his father, Ragip Xhaka, and Galatasaray representatives.
The Turkish club will pay 6 million euros to Bayer Leverkusen to release the 32-year-old, while the media in question has also revealed the annual salary that Xhaka will receive, which is 3.8 million euros excluding bonuses.
Despite his age, Xhaka has shown that he is still an important and very skilled player in midfield. Thus, Xhaka will leave after two years to Leverkusen and is now ready to try a new adventure, with a team that aims not only for success in Turkey but also in Europe.
