Moments of panic in the Premier League clash between Bournemouth and Luton as the challenge was stopped in the 66th minute after Luton captain Tom Lokier suffered a cardiac collapse and fell unconscious on the pitch.
The 29-year-old defender lost consciousness on the field of play, while it took the immediate intervention of medical staff to save the player.
According to British media reports, the footballer has already woken up and is fine, but as a precaution he is having all the necessary checks.
Lokier had experienced a similar episode during the Championship play-off final on May 27, after which he also underwent heart surgery. He received the OK from the doctors to continue playing football, however this Saturday evening the defender went through moments of panic again.
