Inter have secured a convincing 0-3 victory over Lazio at the "Olimpico" stadium, in the match valid for the 36th week of Serie A. The two teams will face each other again in four days, this time in the final of the Italian Cup.
The Blues took the lead in the 6th minute through Lautaro Martinez. The Inter captain finished off a cross from Markus Thuram, giving Kristian Kivu's team the lead.
In the 39th minute, Inter doubled their lead through Petar Susic. The Croatian midfielder scored a superb goal from distance, following an assist from Lautaro Martinez, ending the first half with a score of 0-2.
The situation became even more complicated for Lazio in the 59th minute, when Alessio Romagnoli was sent off after a serious challenge on Ange-Joan Boni.
Inter took advantage of the numerical advantage and in the 76th minute Henrik Mkhitaryan scored the third goal, sealing the 0-3 away success for the Black and Blues.
The two teams will face each other again on May 13, also at the "Olimpico" stadium, where they will discuss the Coppa Italia trophy.
