Imane Khelif, the Algerian boxer at the center of the gender incompatibility test scandal, spoke today after her victory in the quarterfinals against the Hungarian Hamori. She has avoided the international media, which according to her are prejudicing her, speaking only about the national ones.
Khelif first gave the military salute, burst into tears and then commented on what had happened these days.
" I fight for the honor and dignity of all women. I worked hard to be here and I am proud to bring a medal to my country.
The Arab people have known me for a long time, for years I have fought in all international competitions. There is a lot of injustice towards me, but I have God on my side ", she tearfully told the media of her country.
