The sale and consumption of alcoholic beverages will be prohibited during the Italy-Norway match, scheduled for November 16 at the San Siro stadium in Milan, a qualifying match for the 2026 World Cup.
The prefect of Milan, Claudio Sgaralia, has ordered a ban on the service and sale of alcoholic beverages, as well as the sale of take-away drinks in glass containers and cans, both in fixed and mobile locations.
This does not stop normal table service. The ban will be in effect from 8:00 a.m. to midnight on November 16 in the Centro, Darsena and Navigli areas, the Sempione and Corso Como areas, and from 12:00 noon to midnight on November 16 in the San Siro area and surrounding areas.
