The former striker of teams with names such as Manchester United, Villarreal, Atlético Madrid or Inter has decided that at the age of 45 he will return to his old passion, tennis, as he will participate in a professional tournament in the city of birth, Montevideo.
He will play in the doubles matches of this tournament, alongside the Argentine Federico Koria, with the matches scheduled from November 11 to 17.
" I like to challenge myself. This is a different sport for me, I like the challenge and I want to compete against good players from different countries ", said Forlan during the summer about this new career he has undertaken, as he now sees himself ready to participate among professionals.
