Silvinjo spoke in Spain about his experience as coach of Albania. Our national team wants to qualify for the European Championship in Germany and currently holds the second place in the group. " The president of the AFL told me that it was an opportunity for me to be the coach of Albania. We talked, we talked together and I decided to join this National Team. Things are going well for us so far, we've got some good results and there's a lot of excitement for the future.
The direction of a team is very different from that of a national team. But Tite taught me a lot when I was with him in Brazil. You have to watch the players to meet them, follow them at every moment, there are a lot of meetings and things like that. In our National Team, the players speak English or Italian, so communication is easy for me. Our players are very good, they play at high levels of football in Europe. The group is difficult, but our objective is to qualify for the European Championship, it will be decided in the last matches ," says Silvinjo, who then adds.
" We hope, but it will be difficult, the group is very balanced. However, I am really happy, my players are strong. Just a little pity for Kumbulla and Broja because of their injuries. The president of the AFL has done a wonderful job, we have all the conditions. We have a gym, new football pitches, opportunities to go and meet the players. There is a lot of peace in doing the work and at the same time we have everything we need ."
In the end, the Brazilian coach of the Reds and Blacks says: " I work with Zabaleta, Doriva and five other people. So we are Argentine, Brazilian, Albanian, a complete staff. I also highly appreciate the work of the previous coaches who were in Albania ", said Silvinjo.
