The Swedish national team has released its list of players for the World Cup play-off matches, where Albania is also in the same mini-group. The Swedish team will first face Ukraine, while in case of qualification, they could face Albania in the group final.

Coach Graham Potter has named 26 players for these crucial matches. The list released is marked by several significant absences due to injuries.
Among the players who are unavailable are names such as Alexander Isak, Dejan Kulusevski, Viktor Johansson, Emil Holm, Jakob Wiedel Zetterström, Alexander Bernhardsson and Emil Krafth.
In a statement to the media, Potter stressed the importance of the first match and the need for tactical flexibility:
He said that the team needs to have a clear game plan, but also alternatives from the bench, considering the absence of several players due to injuries as unfortunate. According to him, despite this, the team has sufficient quality.
Special item in the list
Also included in the Swedish list is Besfort Zeneli, a footballer who previously played for the Kosovo U-21 national team, but who later chose to represent Sweden. He is the brother of Kosovo striker Arbër Zeneli.
