The Albanian national team has officially begun preparations for the match against Serbia at the House of Football.
The group was not complete, but under the orders of coach Sylvinho, most of the invited players were there, while Jasir Asani, Thomas Strakosha, Arbër Hoxha, Ivan Balliu and Enea Mihaj joined the team during the evening hours.
The first session was less busy for the Rossoneri, as all the players came back from their club commitments this weekend and focused on physical exercises and a little bit of ball play.
Meanwhile, the Albanian Football Association (AFC) announced in its press release that defender Ardian Ismajli and midfielder Adrion Pajaziti will not be part of the team for the two October matches due to injuries they sustained with their clubs.
Although Ismajli and Pajaziti have undergone medical examinations at their respective clubs, the medical staff has decided not to take any risks as the two players cannot recover in time for the two October matches.
The Serbia-Albania match will be played on Saturday, October 11 in Leskovac and is valid for the 2026 World Cup qualifiers, while 3 days later, on October 14, the red and blacks will play a friendly against Jordan, at the National Arena in Tirana.
