Lorik Cana says that Igli Tare is the right person for Milan's Sports Director and that the results speak for themselves for the former number 2 of the Lazio club.
Speaking to Italian media, former Lazio defender Lorik Cana shared his shared experiences with Igli Tare, at the Roman club and one of the main candidates to take over the reins of the transfer market at the 7-time European champions.
" We have known each other for 25 years. For me, first and foremost, he is a friend and undoubtedly my consideration for him is very high, first and foremost personal. As a manager, the facts speak for the future, but we Albanians wish him the best, because he is a reference point in terms of sports in the country ," declared Lorik Cana, among other things.
At the "Studio Champions" in Tring, Tare was the special guest and when asked about a move to Milan, he answered it by avoiding it: " I can't say anything ," - said Tare, continuing, - "but Milan has a good team that can compete for the Serie A trophy."
With his possible move as Milan's sporting director, the former Lazio man does not hide his appreciation for the coaches. " Max Allegri and Antonio Conte are the two best Italian coaches ," he said, taking Simone Inzaghi out of the game.
Despite "blessing" him as coach of Lazio, from where Inzaghi later left for Inter, Tare says that Simone still has room for improvement. " He was destined for this job, I've always said that. He still has room for improvement ," Tare said, among other things.
Situation - With Fabio Paratici's "out of the game" for the position of Sports Director, Milan returned to the Igli Tare track, which according to the media in Italy is the most likely, as the other candidates are at different clubs and Tare has been unemployed for two years, since he left Lazio.
